Matthew Smith, DVM
Dr. Matthew Smith was born in Lucedale, Mississippi. He graduated from George County High School in 2003 and continued his education at Mississippi State University where he completed his undergraduate degree. Dr. Matt received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University. After completing his clinical work at Texas A&M in 2010, Dr. Matt joined his father at George County Veterinary Clinic.
Dr. Matt has a strong passion for large animal medicine. Like his father, Dr. Matt enjoys raising and racing American Quarter Horses. His special interest in veterinary medicine is in performance horses like barrel race horses and other race horses.
Dr. Matt and his wife, Lacy, have three daughters, Dani Lynne, Karlee Grace, and Aubrey Claire.
